Is the food prepared fresh?
Yes. Tiffins are prepared fresh every school day and delivered the same morning. We don’t send the previous day’s food.
What if my child does not eat egg?
Just choose Veg when you join. On egg days, your child gets the paneer option instead. If you want to switch between Veg and Egg later, message us on WhatsApp.
Can you handle food allergies?
Please tell us about every allergy or food restriction before you subscribe. We’ll confirm whether we can safely accommodate it. Our kitchen handles common allergens such as milk, wheat and egg, so we can’t guarantee an allergen-free kitchen. If your child has a severe allergy, please talk to us first.
Can parents see the weekly menu in advance?
Yes. Each week’s menu is shared with parents on WhatsApp before the week starts. The sample menu on this page shows the kind of food to expect.
My child is a fussy eater. Will they like it?
We keep the food familiar and mildly spiced, and we want your feedback. That’s what the 5-day trial is for: see how your child takes to it before committing to a month.
Is the portion enough for my child?
Portions are planned for a school tiffin break. If your child regularly finds it too much or too little, tell us. Feedback like this helps us plan better.
Boxes & delivery
How does the 2-box system work?
Each child has two reusable steel boxes. On any school day, one box goes to school with the meal while the other is washed and kept ready at our kitchen. The next day they swap. That way a clean box is always ready, even if one comes back late.
What happens if my child forgets to return the box?
No stress. That’s exactly why there are two. The second box still goes out the next day; just send the first one back with your child the following day. If a box is lost or damaged, it may be adjusted against the refundable box deposit.
Do you deliver to individual homes?
Not in Phase 1. All tiffins are delivered together to one school or common pickup point, and empty boxes are collected together in the evening. This keeps the service simple and the price fair.
Is TinyTiffin available at my child’s school?
Phase 1 starts with one school or common pickup point. If your child goes to a different school, message us anyway. It helps us decide where to go next.
Subscription
How do I subscribe?
Tap Join TinyTiffin, fill in a few details and send the message that opens in WhatsApp. We’ll reply with slot availability, start date and payment details. Nothing is charged on this website.
Can I pause the subscription for a day?
Yes. In Phase 1, pause and skip requests are handled on WhatsApp and are subject to our cutoff time: to be confirmed before launch (TBD). We’ll explain how skipped days are handled when you join.
What happens on school holidays?
There are no tiffins on weekends or school holidays. The monthly plan is built around school days (up to about 22 a month), not calendar days. We’ll share exactly how holidays are counted when you join.
How do I pay?
Once your slot is confirmed, we’ll share payment details on WhatsApp. No payment is taken on this website.
